Oral Appliance Therapy
Oral Appliances are not just for snoring!
The Academy Of Sleep Medicine Recently revised its guidelines indicating oral appliances for use in patients with mild to moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA):
- who prefer Oral Appliances to the CPAP
- are not appropriate candidates for CPAP
- or who fail treatment attempts with CPAP
- treatment with behavioral measures such as weight loss or sleep position
